TITLE: Finance and Administration Officer – Namibia

LENGTH OF CONTRACT: Fixed term up to 31 August 2022 (full-time)

REPORTING: To the HPA Programmes Manager for Namibia

BENEFITS: NAD180,766 – 200,000 PA before deductions

About the Role

This is a full-time, fixed term contract that will run up to 31 August 2022 – with the potential for the role to be extended depending on funding being secured. We are looking for an individual who can start as soon as possible. The role is varied and involves working across a range of finance and administration tasks. You will be part of a small but dynamic team in-country and will work closely with finance and programmes colleagues in our head office in the UK.

About You

We are looking for a finance officer who has strong experience and skills in financial processes and procedures.

We need someone who is competent in: preparing monthly expenditure reports, preparing and analysing reports and reconciliations against donor budgets, the preparation of budgets, and the processing of monthly payroll and benefits.

We are looking for an individuals who can work collaboratively with colleagues to discuss project finances and pays close attention to expenditure spends against budgets. You’ll need cultural awareness and strong interpersonal skills. You must be fluent in written and spoken English with demonstrable attention to detail and knowledge of processing payroll in accordance to Namibian laws and regulations. We are recruiting an experienced and motivated Finance and Administration Officer with a proven track record of delivering to deadlines in a busy and dynamic environment.
